For my final project I decided to create a mold of my friend Paul's hand. After I fixed the cracks in my mold, I painted the whole hand white. I then decided to paint a waterfall because my (immediate) family, grandparents, and I all went to Gatlinburg and always went on morning walks, we would sometimes even pass by some waterfalls. So this painting is supposed to represent my love for nature. The reason I molded Paul's hand the way I did was because it was supposed to represent the state of Michigan, the state I grew up in with my grandparents.
When I was painting the waterfall, I used many shades of blue and overlapped them so that it would give a contrast look. Then I put some rocks that have gradient at the bottom of the waterfall. And if I'm being honest, it was very tedious making the gradient in the rocks. But overall I think it turned out ok.
