I see a heart made of wire with yellow yarn tied in the center of it. Attached to this heart are 3 wire heads that are being held on by pink yarn. This piece is also attached to a block of wood. The elements of design that are being used the most in this sculpture is line because the yarn within the sculpture is being connected by a series of lines (a line is when two points meet), so the yarn is making up these lines. The principle of design that is most prominent is rhythm because your eye follows the lines made out of yarn creating movement within your eyes, and rhythm means movement in other words. This sculpture means that family should always stick together through thick and thin when your family is struggling financially (the outline of this sculpture is the symbol for family). This piece was supposed to relate to the social justice issue, mounting poverty within family's. I like this piece because of the meaning and how it's not a fluffy topic. I also like the way the yarn is designed throughout the heart.
